Could not get to today's game wondered how we played/how Barrow played. No report on the official site and no comments on our forum. Grateful for any updates.
                                                                                                              cheers.

Decent performance against a strong side both physically and ability wise. I can see why they're up the right end of the table although I do think it'll be Fylde that win the title.

We started a bit sloppily and gave a poor goal away but we stuck in there and Sampson overcame a shaky start to play ok in the end. Dom Smith and Vidal had good games, Jon Adams was a worthy man of the match with strong efforts from Shane Clarke and Dave Hibbert. Reece Styche looked off the pace all day to be fair and the injury to Greeny towards the end of the first half could be costly if it is a decent length of time.

Brendon Daniels' free kick was a cracker and the result was a fair representation in my view though.

Many thanks Pricey appreciate that. Good news is we now can compete with the leaders.
It also shows how far we have come under our new manager in such a short period.
                                                                                                   Cheers.

Yes we have come a long way since Andy Morrell has taken the helm but I thought we were second best over many places today in the second half after such a good 25 mins in the first. Hibbert won everything in the air, Connor Taylor had a good first half and maybe should have scored after hitting the post. But we faded in the second and were unable to threaten the Barrow goal in the second half, I cannot recollect their keeper having to make a save. The real positive point was we had an 18 and 19 year old as our central defenders and a left back who usually plays in midfield and the tables top scorers could not get past us after the first 5 mins. Bellshaw made some brave saves in the 2nd half and was far the busier keeper. Barrow are a good side and are in with a shout of finishing as champions.

Thought we were good for our point, could see why these pair are in the top 3, thought the team played for each other again, marks out of 10 as I saw it,

Belshaw 7
Vidal 7
Sampson 7
Smith 8
Green 6
Taylor 7
Adams 8
Clarke 7
Daniels 6
Styche 6
Hibbert 7

Subs
Trainer 6
Jackson 6
Thornton 5

I did think that Barrow were lucky to have 11 men on the pitch at the end, thought at times they pushed there luck to the limit and with a stronger ref I think someone would have walked, especially the lad who took out Taylor when from where I was appeared to be through on goal and the and took out by their last man, but then again I was the other end of the ground so could be wrong, at least we scored from the resulting free kick.

Luck was on Tamworths side, but who gives a monkeys. Barrow should have killed Tamworth off second half. I'll give the Barrow manager 6 games in the Prem. tops before he gets the sack or has a heart attack.

The yellow card for the Barrow defender for the foul on Taylor was right I thought. It was cynical but there was a lad tracking round who was nearer to the goal than him and would have had chance to tackle Connor too.

Really enjoyed the game yesterday, great to see us competing with the best in the league and with a good crowd to cheer the lads on.Thought the ref handled it well as the Barrow players were in his face at every opportunity.

You watched a different ref to the one I saw!. How Barrow kept 11 players on the pitch was beyond me. I thought the ref was awful & so did the fans around me. Very lucky no one got badly hurt. 4 out of 10 from me.

So what you are telling me and the other two people who read this forum , you wanted a ref who blow every time it got a bit rough and tumble. Barrow to play with 10 men because Tamworth wasn't good enough, or a game played with a bit of grit, with the ref who was not whistle happy. Well I for one enjoyed my afternoon I did have a moan at the ref but fair play to him you have to admit he had a good game. Say again well done ref. He still was a slap headed wxxker.

I want a ref that awards cards for pushing people in the face & elbowing people in the face as its dangerous & against the rules, On another day that's what would happen. If a player had of been carried off with a broken leg, would you have been happy?.You had a moan at a ref who you give 10 out of 10 for?, make your mind up!.I enjoyed the game, thought Tamworth were good enough, but went off the boil a bit second half as we kept trying hoof ball from Belshaw to Styche. Once we got the ball down I thought we did much better, but Barrow are top for a reason.

Our team has definitely got a problem with halitosis, because every time they breathed on a Barrow player, they went down like a ton of bricks!Embarrassed  Under another ref. they would have had loads of extra free kicks.

First 10 minutes we were asleep hence the quick goal, therefter pretty comfortable.

Ref had a shocker IMO should have sent the Barrow player off in the second half.

We will see if a Tamworth player gets away with that at the next game shall we?.

Problem is that you have watched to many village teams just outside Manchester, Tamworth played a team with a bit of pedigree, both teams got stuck in, I'm sure the player did not miss work with a cut lip. Again I like to see both teams give all, a cut lip a bruise is nothing in a hard game. 100% is what every one wants every week. Well done to both teams. Well done ref, for giving us a game, and letting both teams get on with the game. A cut lip I have heard it all, are you his mother?

Insult me all you like, it's about opinions, who mentioned a cut lip?, swollen gums actually, by the way, the players of TFC agree with me & I think they know more about it than you. By the way I was standing by his mother & Conners dad. Are you the refs dad?.

At long last a debate on this forum, about time it came alive this is what the forum is about, I must admit that I didn't think the ref was great on Saturday, we have defiinitely had better but then again we have had worse as well, I did listen to some of the players in the bar afterwards who did say they thought he was poor, but looking on the Barrow fans forum they also thought he was poor, at least he was consistent.

I try to be positive, and look what happens. I honestly thought it was a hard battle for the top of the table. I don't know any battle where little blood isn't lost. Now I dont know what was said in the club house, but top teams in any league are not going lay down and give you the points. Tamworth was second best and they may have got sore gums they got the point, hard work that's what is all about. That is why I am happy to say well done to everyone on the pitch for
Entertaining me.

Tamworth weren't second best by any stretch of the imagination, albeit for the first 10 mins we competed and could have gone on to win.

The thing I like about this team is their ability to come back from behind, it shows a lot about the attitude and what AM insists on.

Your right. Tamworth was all over Barrow never gave them a kick.
By the way you do know that you are all nutters. That's good I have nothing against nutters and I don't want sore gums.
