Reports this morning suggest season suspended till Dec 2nd from now or Thursday depending on sources (spoiler - no  chance this bunch of clowns will have improved it enough by then to restart) so what do we do? Very difficult to see how a full season gets completed in anything like a timely fashion now. The Northern Prem talked about splitting their leagues in half if a restart was possible down the line, a bit like the American conference system and merging them for promotion finals. Even that might not be possible. You can't do PPG by anyone's estimation with 80-90% of games still to play so doomsday is another null and void. I can't believe that shutting the pubs an hour early didn't completely defuse a global pandemic can you? ------------- The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots |
