I know a few on here read it anyway but they are keeping going through the shutdown and this week's is a great read. Plenty of interviews and updates on what teams are doing in the shutdown and some great historical stuff looking back at classics.

The national press on the whole, don't pay us any attention so they are the only real media coverage we get.

I know there are bigger bills to pay at the minute but if you have got £17.49, then through magazine.co.uk you can subscribe to the NLP for the next 13 issues and get access to all the back issues digitally too.

I used to buy it  every week but had stopped since the shutdown but I am going to subscribe today. As  Pricey says it is the only way we can keep up to date with non league football and I am  sure their sales will have dropped  and if my few pounds can help them survive great :)

Great interview with non league old boy Les Ferdinand in this week. What a player he was in his Newcastle days.

Interesting about his early experiences

Got a subscription for £14.99 through my iPad and it looks great.
I agree, Les Ferdinand was a hell of a player, remember him playing for Spurs as well.  Looking forward to reading his interview.

Made up to get a digital sub cos my local newsagent only gets one copy in and an old guy has been buying it for years and I do not like taking his copy.  i will have to ask him which non league team he supports, probably Marine, if they are still going ?

Marine going strong in the northern part of the pyramid. Win a few community club awards.

I didn't realise there was a City Of Liverpool FC non league club, nicknames the "Purps".  You learn something new every day.

Bootle were having a good season in the North West Counties too (step 5) and were minimum getting a play off shot to get into the northern prem set up.

They play in BLUE as well mate!

In fact, when Bootle won at purps there were 682 there which is a colossal gate for two steps below us.

It is amazing how many non league teams there are around here who sadly get ignored and I am as guilty as anyone.
682 is a massive gate and very encouraging for lower league football round here.  Gonna get along to a local game when footie finally comes back, when Tamworth are not at home of course :)
