| Has signed for Scumeaton. They seem to think we wont be happy with him leaving us, but maybe once reality has kicked in and he only plays half a dozen games a season for them through injury they will see we arent shedding tears. A good player no doubt but no point having someone sat on the sidelines for 4 months of the season. Cant imagine he's joining them for peanuts but guess they're awash with money once again until it goes tits up for the umpteenth time!!! |

At last, we've offloaded the bone idle waste af space  been a total non entity in his time at The Lamb. Good riddance Aman, you won't be missed.

| He’s a decent player, there is no doubt about that, and I don’t know what he was in at Tamworth the last two years, but it certainly want value for money, and I guess Nuneaton is closer to where he lives, but there is no doubt he will be on decent money there. |

Just had a look on the Nuneaton fans site, one of the comments on there following the news of them signing Verma- 'we are gonna piss this tin pot league' Bloody hilarious  They are in for a bit of a rude awakening.

| No doubt Skippo. Certainly in his first season with us,part of his wage if not all was being made by Teambuilder fund. If he stays injury free he should be good at our level in fairness, but what with all his reported injury problems in the past season or so its not a risk worth taking. I may be wrong but for some reason i kinda felt it was a bit of a smokescreen. He was always "nearing fitness" for the last couple of months or more of the season but never actually featured! |

The phrase "piss this tin pot league" has become a throw away jibe - I tend to spout it to bradders every time we win one in a row so I doubt it was serious. I disagree Verma was hopeless. When he played, he was one of our better players but from 19th Jan till season end, he didn't play and that isn't sustainable especially if the problem is likely to be recurring. Pretty likely he'll score a winner against us Boxing Day though I'd imagine. ------------- The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots |

| His second season with us was an absolute joke. Didn’t have his heart in it and it was obvious to me anyway he didn’t want to get hurt in going in for hard tackles or heading ball in dangerous 50/50 situations. Just waiting for an injury to stay on side-lines. We can’t afford wasters on TFC books and sorry for me he was during his second year with us. |

I agree that he is technically a good player Pricey, however, he was also lazy, disinterested and unmotivated. Maybe others saw something in him that I didn't, I'm just glad to see the back of him, As for scoring the winner against us on boxing day, he'll be out with a long term injury by the end of September

Must talented player we had on the books. Not sure if his game was more suited to League North and above but for whatever reason he seemed to give up on us during his second year coasting round and not getting really involved. Really thought he took the piss out of TFC towards the end. Really happy he’s gone to the Scum. ?

| I guess from his point of view he was signing for a National League North club, who would be looking to try and make the playoffs that season, as it was, we got relegated and he had a year left at the club, and yeah he didn’t justify the large wages he was receiving last season, his injury record would definitely be a concern for me. |

| Thats why i say its not worth the risk. You dont go from being player of the year i believe, at Torquay in the Conference National to a bad player within a couple of seasons 2 levels lower. If fit and if motivated he should for me potentially be one of ,if not the best midfielder in our league. Clearly he was on good money,and not worth taking the chance that he "might" be fit most of the season. Once you start getting long term injuries,as you get older it tends to have an adverse effect. Be sods law most likely and he'll play out of his skin when we play our six fingered neighbours! |

Attitude not injuries for me with him as a long term problem. As said before just maybe his injury was a godsend for him and prevented him putting even less effort in for us or very close in the difference with his match performances last season. He will struggle next season in this league as he did this - he thinks he’s dam too good for it and he won’t be given time on the pitch to display his obvious talents

Personally thought he was technically our best player over the past two seasons. However real leaders make everybody around them look good and effect results of games but that never really seemed to happen. I think he’s 33 now so will be on the slide and with injuries becoming a factor it’s probably the right call considering the wage he would have been on at the time of signing |

Not sure about that. I remember 2/3 games under Greene where he got chucked up front on his own and ran himself into the ground despite carrying a knock. particularly remember Kettering at home. |

Not questioning his game time v wage but I think it's unfair to question attitude. He had an injury-hit season - it happens. Doesn't mean to say he wasn't trying.
