Good luck to him tonight in play-offs with FGR. No one has had to work with shall we say bizarre Chairman has he had to do in last and current post. Took Swindon to League 1 play-off Final with Swindon despite Mr Powers bizarre involvement and look where we are now! Managing Mr Vegan must be another challenge at FGR but at least he’s given Mark a chance unlike Mr Powers

Sorry Argus, but stuff FGR and their wierdo eco fanatical chairman, stuff their veggie catering, and as for Mark Cooper taking on this sideshow of a football club, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest his armpits :)

Come on that’s a little harsh for an ex-player who gave his all for us. And it didn’t work out for him ultimately with us but he has done well for himself. Good luck to him.

Ain’t going to happen IOM - after all fleas are actually “meat” and banned even if they had Camels in Gloucester - but really hope you don’t get the hump

Sorry Bof, actually nothing personal against Mark Cooper, perhaps a poor attempt at humour on my part, I do however maintain a healthy contempt for FGR, their chairman and everything that they stand for.

True Story - Season 2005/6. Not remotely close to MC as just a fan and apart from the odd high five at an away game he didn’t have a clue who l was.
Eve of the Hartlepool FA cup match went to bed early at home as catching the Supporter bus the next morning. Phone rang at two in the morning and a bloke who l worked with from the North East who knew from my constant rambling that l was a TFC fan called me. Waking up from a deep sleep he uttered never guess who wants to talk to you. Friggin MC comes down the phone “how are you mate” and a slightly weird two minute conversation followed. TFC staying at a hotel in Darlington at same time as the local Rugby club was having their Xmas do there. Weird coincidence or what and despite being in the bar at that time Coops came on as a sub during that unforgettable unbelievable cup win

Can't quite compete with a call off the boss but Bradders had a premonition moment at that game. I was still drinking a cup of hot chocolate as was he when we won a corner.
"Put that down mate, Matt Redmile is going to nod this in". I thought about it and I put it down. Ten seconds later, and so it came to pass.

In fairness, in the 13 years since, he has completely failed to reproduce this form every time we've had a corner but that day as I celebrated the goal, it did spark us all the people in earshot into uproarious laughter as well.

Pricey that can’t be true. I believed it until I got to the bit about Bradders drinking hot chocolate!!
I remember the goal though made the horrible journey worthwhile.

Them being a football league team meant I'm pretty certain we couldn't get a half time beer so he was in the hot chocolate but you are right he's generally allergic to soft drinks
