Remote play-off dreams gone now in such an anti- climatic fashion - we never got going against one of the poorest outfits in the league - Yes well drilled but absolutely sh*t. Today I’m afraid we didn’t beat them so obviously on the day it tells a story. Proved today Waite (on massive wages) will not be the player to get us up next season - he had 2 really good chances and did his usual - has to go he’s not our answer. One of the few positives - their double cheese bugger absolutely magnificent! - Today proved without doubt we have 2 really class players who can turn games in a second at this level - when both are running at defences we can be unbeatable - we lost one early on in Laite and Jack did his absolute best but closed down by extra defenders on him or when he managed to get other players involved they simply blew their cue!

Unless we have a miracle we’ll need to find another gem as Jack will be back at Blues.

Not ready for Blues mate - be put out on loan next season to a team much higher than us to assist his development- no point in coming back to us

After having to make a tortuous journey there (from Cannock it's M6/m5/m42 - easy) but not when someone discovers an unexploded bomb by Oldbury I arrived about 2.50 and spent two hours sort of wishing I hadn't bothered.

Commitment was good, we kept a clean sheet but this game had a feeling of 0-0 from a long way out. Still, when the Redditch lad hit the dipping, swerving shot that bounced half a yard in front of Jas very very late on, I thought it might have been worse than 0-0 and that would have been daylight robbery.

One other plus though, Kettle looks better playing alongside Magunda than he has anyone else this season.

The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots

Thought we edged this rather meaningless game, which however, showed, once again, our need for a genuine centre forward/striker.Cant fault Waite for effort but does not fit the bill for me.

Thought Smudger made a mistake by leaving Shaw out, especially after his previous performance where I made him MOM.Whats he got to do to get his place? can't see him being around next season.
