Really don’t want to walk away tomorrow embarrassed- but can’t see anything but 2-1 win to us with Wait scoring in the 89 minute!

They were a lot better than us last time out. They have improved where we haven't so going for another 2-0 loss (would be more without the Smithy effect).

78 Concannon strike makes it 1-1. He’s definitely our ace up the sleeve.

2-1. The Tamworth boys. Well Bob Andrews is going to have to find one hell of a manager to replace Smugder or a death wish. 7 points from 3 matches. When was the last time anyone took the reigns at the lamb with that starting run. As before give him the caretaker position until the end of season and then decide. Well done lads, Sumdger and Andy. Looking forward to next Saturday

So who got the score right then and even the scorer and actual time - I thank you

Don’t get Coalville - worst defence seen in a long time - we caught them out on 6 one on ones with their keeper - didn’t score one of them. Square beyond belief- however bigger point here we have at last turned the corner that was our depression. MUST lay foundations now for next season when we have to make the push upwards!

And that’s not even mentioning the racist abuse Jaz got today - been reported folks!

Counting this one - 4 on trott from me - does anyone frigging care - we just beat Coalville away and maybe turned the corner and even scored from one !

To be honest no I don’t frigging care.
We beat Coalville town 2-1, not bloody Luton town or Oxford United like we have done in the not so distant past.

I’ll be more than happy once we are back up a level at least

That is a very decent win today but I wouldn’t get too carried away with the 7 points from 3 games shouts. 4 points from the first two was disappointing if anything given the standard of opposition. This win is a good result no doubt but let’s get Stourbridge out of the way at least before we make any big conclusions.

Cant say it was a good performance, both sides were poor but a win is a win

Got me worried there for a bit guys - had to check the papers to see we actually won yesterday after your downbeat negative vibe - felt like we won a cup final yesterday - suppose you had to be there

Beating Coalville is a decent result and scoring last minute probably makes it feel sweeter but just like some people don’t think the world has fallen in when we lose, they don’t think we are the new Man City when we win. Beating Coalville is really not like winning a cup final.

Of the three results under the new management, one was awful (Bedworth), one was handed to us (st Neots skeleton side), and a good one (yesterday). That is a fair start but let’s see where we are afte a sensible number of games before leaping to knee jerk one way or the other. I’d love them to win every game till the end of the season but we’ve not got a lot of evidence to go on yet.

Quite agree Argus, reality is we are were we are and Coalville have had a better season than us, and yes I know we do have a number of other teams who in the past would have asked for friendlys rather than playing them in a league game, that is just the same for a number of clubs in the conference who thought the same about us.
I enjoyed the game yesterday, Lait could have had a hat trick in the first half, if not four, had Waite looked up a few times the were players in better position to score and felt the score line had we scored 3/4 goals would have flattered them.

Pricey you go on about the Bedworth game and a poor result for Gary & Andy, take into account they took over the team on the Tuesday night having had no input to to the first team previously, and then in to Thursday training before the game giving them around 2:1/2 hrs in total and you think they had a bad result?
I am not saying they are the answer but they are certainly putting a good case forward.
Roll on Saturday

I am not blaming them for anything at all but that Bedworth game was as bad as any all season. Truly awful against the worst team in the league. I think we’ve done better since then (we’d have beaten st Neots with Argus in charge in fairness) but the 7 points from 3 games shouts do need a bit of context is all.

- 7 points from 9 taken doesn’t need any context mate - any team would take that including teams at the top irrespective of who you play in this league - best points taken scenario for TFC for a very long time - so let’s enjoy it - rejoice it - smile about it - shout about it - dance about it - jump up and down about it- but please don’t context it

Yep agree but in order - Smudge DID - I could have - AM may have done however MF but Dennis Greene wouldn’t have

I was there and I’m as happy as anyone about the result because it been getting desperate, but find it hard to be happy about the performance because it wasn’t good. It was a game played between two poor teams on a poor pitch.

Unfortunately most away games are going to be played on what can only be described as sunday football pitches. But that is the current level we are at. We were the better of two poor teams (God knows how they had won 7 out of 9) but our passing and shooting needs to improve even to get to mid table obscurity. Saturday will be interesting and wins do bring belief.

Good grief guys. What on earth is wrong with some of you. These last three games have been a breath of fresh air compared with what we’ve had to put up with recently. What do you want 6 or 7 nil. I’ve been smiling after seeing a football game. That’s an improvement that I’m willing to live with and making the most of. What am I saying yes it would be great to win games 6 or 7 nil.

These last 3 games have been a breath of fresh air?

It does not make anyone negative to not think Bedworth at home was a breath of fresh air. It was truly, truly abysmal against an awful side and we were fairly close to losing it. Yes, the new management had limited time to prepare and I am not digging them out but it does need saying.

As for not needing context Argus, are you claiming 4 points off Bedworth and st Neots b at home would be no more or less of an achievement than 4 points off Kettering and Stourbridge away.? Both get you 4 points but I would see those achievements as different. If you see them exactly the same, fine, we’ll have something else to disagree on.

Doubt we would have got 4 points from the two home games with Dennis Greene in charge and 7 from 9 deserves not one jot of negativity or context in my eyes - suppose we were playing an underperforming no hope outfit in Coalville who are obviously full of the relegation blues

I think Pricey 2 is just being a realist and keeping feet on the ground.

Context - TFC have struggled perpetuately against the bottom teams and played well against the top - todate we have done well in both under the Smudge - bring on Saturday.
