Mills is out of touch with this level now, though loved him when he was here. He walked out on the club twice.
IF Greene was to go I would like to think we would take stock of where we are as a club.
Like it or not, we are in the local leagues and need to get someone in who can tap into the local non-league player pool, identify players who can have an affinity with the club.
There are lads two levels below us who could play at this level or higher.
Hate to say it but them down the road are going about it the right way now. Just signed a lad from Coleshill, who is smashing it at National North level.

BIG BIG problem - We employed a manager out of work for 2/3 seasons based in the Boston heartlands - majority of his signings based around his former clubs and by definition 2/3 seasons ago - their not good enough to get us out of this league and worse relegation dog fight on the cards - Taylor exception to this rule - he played against one of the worse defences I’ve ever witnessed that night in Stratford and as a result a world beater - now starved of service with DG hoof stuff his confidence blown - spiral downwards - like Asante - sure DG will Site injuries in coming weeks - he didn’t have them earlier in his campaign- but hey any excuse in a storm blowing - and clutching on to his wage

Not having this injuries nonsense. We all have problems to overcome at work, IT failures, staffing issues, including short notice problems due to illness, equipment faults, problems from external sources, and numerous other things that have to be managed, but guess what, we are expected to cope with it all and perform successfully for our employers. Only in football can you have a guy failing for 3 months without any consequences.

I am no great fan of DG but I think it unfair of you to ignore the fact that we do have a large number of what would have been probably regular starters injured are serving a ban. I think Pricey and I counted at least seven who would normally have played if not injured.
DG can’t take full responsibility for the defensive errors that have plagued us this season. Didn’t we have defensive errors under MF and AM?
I think also Argos9 you were the one calling for our youngsters to be playing last season. Well we had that last night and you saw the result.
As I said earlier I am no fan of DG but I do think you and I.O.M Lamb are being unreasonably hard on him.

Fair enough RB, it's all about opinions. However, if he was doing any sort of decent job it would be hard for me or Argus to criticise him so much. I do accept that many other fans don't share my opinion though so I'll just have to take any flack coming my way, as I doubt my opinion of Greene will change too much.

I think sometimes we end up wanting to make a point so much that we ignore being reasonable. To say “i’m not having this injuries nonsense” when we had Singh, K Green, P Green, Beswick, Magunda, Lait all out, Waite suspended and then Simpson and Kettle out pre or during game does have an effect. Surely you can see that? Take that many players out of any side and they would struggle. It doesn’t mean I think he is the reincarnation of Bill Shankly but I can see this would inconvenience any manager.

The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots

And in case col reads this, obviously being the reincarnation of Shankly would be inferior to the reincarnation of Kendall anyway!

DG has been in charge for what - around 18 games or so - injury/suspension crisis has been with us for how many games Pricey ?

Youngsters arrived obviously in massive JCB truck ordered at the very last moment - todate we have produced 2 gems in a very expensive youth set up for a team languishing in such a low league - one we cocked up signing him to a contract (DW) and the other just a 6 month contract (FM) - my point all along was that if we have a very elaborate and deep youth system we have to see results filtered through to the first team or what’s the point - that or making money out of them. Can’t believe your so short sighted with “well we had that last night” comment - how do you expect a bunch of youngsters chucked into a losing team at short notice to perform. Fortune has been a star recently because he has had the time to develop with those around him. Jordon has been allowed time to as well and for me deserved more playing time

So now you are putting caveats in that you haven’t mentioned before.
Pointlesss trying to make any sense of your arguments.

- explain the caveats please. Comments made have been posted so many times by me I’ve actually got even bored with them - if you can’t make any sense of my arguments getting really worried for you - repartition is one of my strong points

That seems like a caveat to me. As I remember last season you were all for putting youngsters into a losing team and giving MF much grief for not doing so.

Sorry RB - have used that argument from day 1 - that day was when AM quoted as saying “using our youngsters is a risk” and we know AMs record in not using them - ironically when he was forced to use them on infrequent occasions - Shaw at Brackley and Ezwelle (sorry about spelling) at Gloucester they were MOMs but dropped immediately thereafter .In terms of MF fed up with him bringing in youth and journey men in from elsewhere who either not match fit or up to the task - trust me all the above is well documented in as l said loads of repetitive posts on the subject of TFC Youth RB.
