7 games unbeaten and nicely moving up the table - at last at least for me looking forward to Saturday’s game - only one defeat away and starting to create chances up front - options at last with Smith-Johnson and Lait - Come on you lambs!

Recent form suggests so, let’s see at Christmas whether we are hoping for playoffs or survival

You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

I do hope you are right and I have seen definite signs of improvement ever since DG arrived with improved tactical nous probably the biggest reason but let’s not forget nine days and two games ago, you referred to fans “trudging out of the game despondent” after Biggleswade equalised - ( I was a bit miffed but not despondent and I suspect most were similar), claimed a defeat at Bedworth would be our “worst result in 20 or more years and sum us up as very serious relegation candidates”. You described a win as something “we could attach straws to”.

Our second half performance at Stourbridge was very good but I can’t help feeling you slightly over react positively and negatively to results at times. I rate what DG has done and despite some Boston connections which many slated, most of the signings are decent but I am puzzled how we’ve gone from near Armageddon to on the up just after beating a winless side followed by a good draw at Stourbridge.

A drowning TFC supporter will grab at any straws.

So true Bof - at least the straw is now in a half-full glass has opposed to the half-empty we’ve drank on for many years watching TFC - time will tell but if we don’t have hope what’s the point - walk away like so many.- not an option for me

I think you miss my point. I’m not having a go so much as pointing out that most of us were not “despondent” after Biggleswade. I think you just over react a bit and don’t seem to have a “not too bad” setting. We more or less agree about the Stourbridge game. I just don’t think things were quite as awful prior to that as you made out anyway. We are 7 unbeaten but after Biggleswade we were 5 unbeaten.

We weren’t exactly getting thrashed every week were we?

Me and you will turn up whatever - however why have we lost so many fans season on season - nowt to do with not being thrashed

It has never been about getting thrashed every week most of us can take a loss when we’ve given it all. It’s the loss when the game could or should have been put to bed.

Don’t get you Bof - some people are never satisfied - your postal costs for the Asante fanzine are nil on basis your be sending it to yourself and assume you won’t be sharing your Fan Club Meeting room with anyone else - privacy when spending a penny can’t be underestimated mate - that said hope we are both proved wrong this Saturday- he actually played really well in the 8 minutes on pitch although missing a one on one with keeper
