Agree with the positive IOM - but it’s taken the months after the worst display ever witnessed against Gainsborough to get back into wanting to follow TFC again - after all TFC is not in my blood (See what I did there Youth)

3 days to kick off - so many on here Flip-Flop during the season so would be nice to get a commitment from those who have not committed to commit - where will we finish

We'll get promoted - no flip flopping and then for no flip flopping in your case, you can either refer to your tip for us to come 3rd or your almost simultaneous slating of "taflon" (me neither) MF and his lack of providing youth opportunities on a different thread so you can give it the old "told you so" either way.

Ok Argus neck on the block time. 1st place. In a very unknown league of teams, apart from the ones we played yonks ago, we should be at the top. Going from our game against Hendsford we should do it. We seems to have been playing with a different approach and hope that continues. Good options upfront and scoring. Optimistic.

Will speak slowly Pricey - Yes I’m unhappy on balance we have a manager whos won 1 in 13 and a previous part in our demise last season as an assistant to AM and his import of unfit or rubbish loan players against our youth in the main! - just look at Walters for goodness sake - outstanding at Gainsborough showing up so many journey players and we didn’t play him hardly and others saw him over 90 and signed him - yes think we’re finish third and that’s on basis MF will finally get his act together in this lower league or tell you what if after 15 or so we’re not in contention he will be out - simple mate

No need to speak slowly. I understood it first time. Rather than one prediction, you've given two so if we do well, you can give it the old told you so and if we do badly you can do the same.

Bit like last year when if AM got sacked, we'd be bound to improve as he was the absolute biggest problem and then when we didn't improve, it was a much bigger issue than AM.

I'll hold my hand up, I'm regularly wrong about tfc. Thought we'd finish top half last year and after the home win v Nuneaton new year's day, I thought there was no way we'd get relegated. I was completely wrong and prepared to admit that.

It just gets a bit grating on here when you ask people to offer an opinion and then answer patronisingly if they don't share yours.

Red Blooded thinks Asante will struggle this year, I think he'll score plenty but we'll manage to happily disagree without resorting to writing condescending sh*te like "I'll speak slowly" If he has scored 2 by Xmas I'll just say "fair enough, you were right, I was wrong (not for the first or last time)"

Talking absolute Pricey - sorry mate we have two separate and defined problems here - first AM in my opinion like so many fans and obviously the Board wanted him out - the second one, your “it was a much bigger issue than AM” or along - don’t get at all - it wasn’t a problem at all when MF took over - split decision on here in Fans opinions whether he should stay or go - whilst preferring him to go as part of the failed management team stated quite clearly on here let’s give him a chance and see how he goes in first 5 or so games and didn’t become critical at all actually untill last 2 or so games - his record stands out does it not? - as said now has a chance to prove himself in a lower league and hope he can now deliver hence my 3rd Prediction - finally mate and the big question - are you really saying we could not have used our youth better ? -

I'd genuinely love to have a chat with you. How you reinvent the past and then insult others for pointing out is beyond me.

You undoubtedly did lay all the blame at AM's door and then when he'd gone claimed that hadn't solved the problem but still, you'll probably start getting abusive about it.

As for our youth players, we possibly could have used them a shade more but there wasn't an endless pool of match ready kids was there?

Bar Walters who showed a few flashes as a sub but pulled up few trees (in hindsight was maybe better than he looked but if you could find me the stream of posts you made demanding he played I'd love to see them), Ricketts who came in did well, could arguably have been used more but then got injured and Charlie Shaw who may well turn out alright but is still extremely slight (and was smaller last year), we didn't have any outfield players knocking on the door.

Jezeph is an OK keeper, young enough to not be written off, but we missed an experienced head with him and the loanees (who he wasn't head and shoulders above).

So, in truth, I may have played Ricketts more (but I liked the loan signing of Kettle and would've picked him first), Walters struck me as an impact sub (I won't rewrite history and claim I knew he was a football league player all along), Charlie Shaw may develop (but at the time, I like many, thought Tom Shaw a better option) and Jezeph, much of a muchness.

I don't honestly think there was enough there to be the difference between staying up and going down, no.

Saturday was a shocking result. We need to be better tomorrow and then I'm off on holidays for a week so I'll miss Kings Lynn but hopefully return to see us somewhat higher up the table by the Rushall bank holiday game.

Sorry Pricey are you taking the mick - read my reply to you - AM went because we were drowning into the relegation mire and MF made sure in no uncertain terms we went down drowned what was it by 10 clear points ? - there’s a time gap between the two - AM had to go and we all hoped surely that had solved the problem at the TIME however it obviously didn’t - and MF had 13 games to sort it - which he didn’t - really don’t know where your coming from on this?
