What's wrong with you lot?The only way to find out if they're ready is to play them, how on earth will you know if they're ready without doing so?

I agree with that that is why they are given anywhere from 25 mins to see as I said they are comfortable squad players but not starters for me

Highrise Bert - if we play the u21s for a whole season we will be relegated. It's sad but true, unfortunately these are players released from academies of local clubs who haven't made it professionally, if they aren't starters for the first team by the age of 21 it's highly unlikely they are good enough. Opoku is a natural athlete with pace and power, if we can work with him and the likes of Kai on technical ability then we could see development. The lads need to go out on loan as the standard of u21 opponents is poor to say the least

Nobody has said play them for a whole season,This is the time of the season to school them in the first team, especially the two lads we are mentioning, get them in the team, give them a chance to show what they can do in front of there own fans, I'm sure they would excel in front of them.Whats gonna happen next season? I'll tell you what, the same as this season, good young players unable to get in the side because of favouritism.

+1 - no one said on here Shed play the whole dam U21s or am l missing something. Neither did l say play any of the current U21s - not seen any of them play. Our season is now over and just a bit earlier than the past two under AM - no progress made with current team. IMO both Ops and Kai D have shown sufficent potential to be at least valuable squad players next season but hey still a risk with the pittance of a budget you lot keep moaning on about AM is given - so get them back NOW and give them a run in the team and we ALL be able to see if they can cut it - tell you what bet management aren't bothering to watch their progress first hand - of course really happy to be corrected on that point. You lot on here seem to have forgotten the great goal Ops scored against Halifax when all our recognised strikers failed to turn up - and what did AM do bench him yet again in next when should have been chosen when must have been on a great high!

Opoku isn't good enough.  He is already back from his loan, playing for u21s. Don't think Stafford rated him

Different to what I heard. You believe what you want, I will me.
From what I have seen, he's not good enough for this level. Was released by Nuneaton too, of course,

Jamie Vardy wasn't considered to be good enough for Sheffield united. Joe ironside proven goal scorer for this level gone to harriers again released shef Utd.

Surely whilst we are not in a strong position for a he play offs now is time to introduce the u21's. Yes give them 20 mins but when they do very well, better than the player they replaced surely there is an argument for them to start next game. This is the minimum I would expect. Get them back, get big earners shipped out and take the chance what are we losing this season.

I have only seen him a couple of times and he hasn't impressed me at all. Of the two Davies looks a better prospect and could perhaps replace Morley for a game or two as and when a play off position is impossible.
