Who would we want to keep... I would want a new manager in place, probably going to have a completely new team, so a new manager seems the only way to go for me, Belford is a good bloke, and have now doubt he is Tamworth through and through, but it just hasn't worked for him. I would only keep Duane Courtney and Lloyd Kerry if it is possible, might be doing others an injustice, but they are the only ones who have impressed me this season, and I take into consideration Courtney has been injured for a while, but wonder if we would have been in this situation with him in our team! |

Belford should go back to the likes of the Midland Alliance, always out of his depth talked a good game but totally inept!! But Andrews favouritism of Belford has cost the club dear Lambs to the 'slaughter' Sorry to say but its gonna be a long long time in the doldrums.

Any chance of a proper discussion of where we are or will the dickheads scupper it?
My opinion, Andrews has never had the money to keep us up, I don't expect him to bankrupt himself either, I'm sure he would sell if a buyer was there, but be careful what you wish for! Belford was a big mistake, I said at the time he lacked experience and even at lower levels had a poor record, again it was probably the budget that meant he got the job, that and his name! How many players have we used this season? In my opinion we are going back to the level our support deserves. Before you start I'm talking numbers, we have a hardcore of about 500, we can survive in Conf North on that and may well thrive. I'm just sad that a town of 80,000+ can't support their local team, 5000 of the buggers turned up at Everton! |

But you are right there some of that 5000 who did put themselves out from watching the 'big four' midland clubs or those that follow other clubs for the trip to Everton could have come down to the lamb and boost the attendances but when they read Andrews negative comments pleading poverty in the herald they rightfully chose to stay away.

The majority of Tamworth fans never wanted Belford in the first place. It was never going to be a good move as it now proves. Yes I agree he should manage in the Midland Alliance or similar. Too many loan signings as I have previously said, loan players are never going to be committed to our club. If like we are now relegated, they will just return to there respective clubs. Dale, lets be perfectly honest did not have a clue. My only hope is that our chairman removes Dale from our club altogether and DOES NOT give him a chance to get us back up. That would be a total disaster!

Mr Cooper how on earth do you or anyone else know what it would be like under different chairmanship. Under this management system we are down and who knows where we will be next season. Lets say, Mr Cooper, if we were in the top six like Nuneaton would you have gone down and watched them more this season. I have made my views clear in the past, I am not paying £10 to £12 to watch Conference North football, why should I? When Bob Andrews has let the club slip out the Conference. I may have more confidence in the club if they announced major improvements to the ground. We can now move to another ground while ground improvements were being made, just like other teams do. If no announcements are made about any improvements then I'm not going to say any more, I'm just not going to waste my money anymore, like you Mr Cooper I'm going to stay away. |

Having travelled to Southport yesterday i can only say that on that performance we would struggle to remain even in Conference North. There was no passion or desire, no cohesion and no shape. I lost count of the number of times we gave away the ball whilst in posession,or just hoofed it upfield. The only tactical instructions eminating from our bench every game is a cry of "second ball" .There were about 75 people from Tamworth who travelled to that game yesterday either by coach, car or rail, good honest people who care deeply about the football club, and it was clear to see the pain and anger on a lot of faces. They deserve better than that dross. In a perverse sort of way, if it takes losing the last 3 league games to make this board wake up and smell the coffee then so be it, but im not holding my breath. If changes arent made then i can only see us continuing on a downward path.
