I didn't go yesterday but what a terrific result as covered in the other thread and guess what, those who like Durrell are willing to overlook a spat with Connor Taylor and those who don't, want him thrown out of the club for it. We're reaching a bit of an impasse here and it's a bit like Groundhog Day isn't it? Every time he places a decent pass, some want to laud him as a hero and if he as much as looks at a team mate sideways, others want him booted out as a disruptive influence or to quote a phrase that in my head sounds like something I've heard on an old Pathe newsreel "a bit of a bad egg".

AM obviously rates him, having signed him twice and I personally think he has more talent in each toe than Connor Taylor has in both feet put together but clearly he isn't to everyone's taste and there are people who watch us regularly, and whose views I respect who don't like him. We're probably going to have to agree to disagree unless one side or the other is forced to back down by him either scoring five successive hat tricks or walking onto the pitch with a sackful of puppies or kittens which he intends to sacrifice in the centre circle.

If neither of these scenarios occur, I imagine we'll get to the end of the season with him still dividing opinion. If we continue winning games though I won't much care! ;-)

The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots

Big time apoligy to everyone on here and even the Chuckle Brothers - got it completely wrong about Durrell - yesterday's performance proved just how wrong l was about him causing havoc - ED proved yesterday just how much he has come on as a fully signed up team player - fighting (or attempting) to for the TFC cause. I can get it so wrong sometimes - and will be voting for him as fans player of the year and if you Chuckle Brothers could send me an application form l will happily become 3rd member of his fan club.

Well that certainly woke the forum up!, nice bit of banter & some of the comments certainly made me chuckle. Don't mind being dumb pinky or dumber perky tbh, funny how the people criticising the insults like to deliver insults, lol.
I prefer a beer at halftime or possibly a bovril if it's cold. Off for kip now.
Love & best wishes to all xx

God be with you my son! - but just start in the building process - think EC vote in/out will take to June - hopefully this will take less time. I know SIr Alf - not an invitation.

Thank goodness for that.     You know, we all get a bit uptight and frustrated with certain players when their performance / attitude falls short of expectations, but that's what the game is about with us at the Lamb at present, but we are all passionate about this team- fact.
Please continue posting all, in peace please. P.S. Enjoy your teas.

Guys - line in sand (or junior sandpit) as many will say on here on both sides. Really need to move on and my offer and meeting accepted - thanks -,meeting tea bar is on . On my side 100% unconfronticial and will be low key. Moving on to the next stage, somehow you have close communication with ED to arrange a meeting - no problem meeting him but don't see what it will give to resolve impass as it stands - really happy to take back all my comments back about ED (assume you don't,want me to retrack all the good stuff) - on basis he comes good and explains why on a number of occasions when we are goal/goals down when subbed he walks from many many, yards and sometimes the other side of the pitch as slow as a snail (not called him that) - don't know about you never seem this ever at TFC- issue is this- shows great disrespect to us fans and fellow players - that's my beef and hope we can resolve this - trust me guys last comment on hers about subject .

Dave it could have been worse - we could have been called 'PInky and Perky- bagsee Perky given the choice if that's ok with you. Skin colour long gone for the former. By the way to all the younger element on here - the above were a couple of pig puppets which were around in the late 69s and also sang pop tunes of the day with very speeded up vocals.

Oh sorry Footy Dave, I was hoping you had fallen asleep.

As I said in previous comments, everyone is entitled to an opinion but when opinions turn into verbal abuse that is not on?! Please say if you don't agree with me..

Please tell us who? Who keeps giving you the low down of what's going on?

I have also praised other players in my posts, as I said last time around to "Argus9" is it because someone pulled him up on abusing a certain person on a forum, you seem to think its family or friends.

Half time cup of tea sounds great, but let me get my ponytail cut first!!!!!!! I personally wouldn't want to be on the end of any of your abuse.. You seem like the wrong type of person to come across! Clown maybe after the game as well we can all introduce ourselves to the "parasite" "pony tailed enigma" and then see how ED takes it..

Well TTID if its not gospel he needs to stop spreading "bull" on here and trying to turn fans against OUR OWN PLAYERS. NOT FAIR.

Sorry for late reply, been on a course of how to deal with "fans" like Dumb and Dumber..

Constructive criticism, carried out in a considered manner, can be a useful tool in all walks of life.
Abuse especially of the personal type, imo, is as useful as say, throwing coins at your own players as they attempt to apologise for an inept display.
Our current team seems to be an amalgum of the managers wants and must haves, the building going on around them has to be positive for the future of Tfc. Lets see where this takes us. I for one, want all of our players to give 100%. That does not mean they all have to be Danny Newtons however.
We have a strong but "thin" squad compared to the other contenders and imo AM needs the full support of all of us going forward.
