Gainsboro should have been out of sight at halftime and we were very fortunate to be still in it. For me there were too many playmakers in our midfield all capable of a decisive pass to our forwards, the only trouble was there was only one forward to aim at so why we were trying to play a long ball to his head puzzled me.Our full backs were not capable of getting up and down the wings, Strong looked better when he came on and maybe tried a bit too hard at times, but it was down to our defensive play and their inept no 10 who forgot what the game is about

To answer the earlier question, Taylor was as deserving as anyone, worked hard, tried his best, first full game back from injury,  however I thought Fowler showed some quality with a few of his passes, but overall I thought we were poor & were lucky to win. However a win is a win & we may be glad of these points come the end of the season.
