Oh Christ yeah, I'm in no hurry to get back, be that weeks, months whatever but I just hope we don't have some weird contrived finish (ppg or behind closed doors). That's worse than null and void for me, even if that denies us promotion.

You’d rather the season voided than we go up on PPG? I’d have to be in the opposite camp, given the relatively few matches left to play. Not certainties to go up granted and you can imagine how P’Boro Sports (first as it stands) would react if they were booted down to third. I just don’t fancy another season whenever it might be at Step 3!

Have to say i agree with you tfcfan1 and not just because on a ppg basis we would go up alongside Royston i would guess. but because those are the 2 sides that deserve to go up based on the season played thus far. Had we only played a quarter of the season rather than 3/4 i could understand the decision to null and void. There are other teams who are harder done to than ourselves of course, either having already secured "promotion" or as near to certain would have. .As Smudge i think said, the decision taken seems to reward failure rather than the opposite. Rather fancy though that the appeal will account to nothing. Be interesting to see if the scousers will be denied the premiership title! Much as i hate them they deserve to win it but will be farcical if different rules are applied to the "big boys". Whatever anyone's opinion have to say life is more important at this moment in time

I’m not sure that Colbefc would agree with you Dosthill Lamb and he may miss you out when he passes his Everton mints around on his next visitSmile

What I'm saying is that the whole point of football for me is the excitement and the enjoyment of the great moments so a promotion that was achieved via a fax from the Southern League in June wouldn't really achieve that for me.

It would be a real empty feeling. The '09 final day celebration at Telford was amazing. Given the events of the last few weeks, ppg would just be a bit hollow. I'd sooner win it on merit whenever we restart.

Col must run out of Everton mints before i get to the games Red Blooded! He does share a similar dislike of the "other lot" on Merseyside mind you so he's more than ok in my book!

Just a little off topic! Those bloody Europeans are at it again! The Belgian government have offered the Health staff fighting on the frontline of the Corona virus outbreak 1400 euros as a thank you. Thank goodness we are leaving them to it🧐

Solicitors involved now then according to club site.

Given my experience of them - days to answer the phone, weeks to send a letter, months to answer a query, this should all be sorted and we'll be raring to go for the 2023/24 season.

If they do change their decision to scrap the session which I do agree is the wrong decision. Imagine how Liverpool would take that. The other suggestion is PPG which is the fairest way to end and still have promotion and relegation throughout the leagues.

Forgot. PPG would put Tamworth in top position. Not that PPG swayed my thinking
