Will really miss visiting them - really friendly stewards, fans and above all their award winning.meat pies. Ok not like Kiddy’s but 2nd in my list - last visit had to eat 2 pies obviously to check the second was as good as the first

That FA Trophy win was as recently as 2015, they beat Wrexham in the final at Wembley. It just shows how quickly things can go downhill.

Another one bites the dust. North Ferriby have been wound up with immediate effect after being unable to pay a debt of about £7,500. Sad, and I genuinely feel for their fans.

In other news, fair play to blues for saying they'll ban the moron who ran on the pitch etc...idiotic.

However, I can't be alone in thinking that if any footballer had to suffer it, I'm quite glad that it was legend in his own lunchtime, Lee hendrie reincarnated pillock Jack Grealish rather than one of the decent fellas.

The whole incident did get me thinking though. I have no loyalty to either of the teams involved but hearing the knuckle dragging, brain doning "remember '82" crew asking for blues to have points docked is bonkers. If one complete idiot decides to do something as ridiculous as that, he quite rightly gets arrested and a life ban, but it is pretty much impossible for the club to stop.

That said, blues fans in the tilton clapping the whopper off as he got led away is more troubling.

Struck me that no one came out of it well. Grealish is a dickhead and his arrogant persona makes him more likely to be targeted. The fella who ran on is a prat and those clapping him are as stupid as those calling for a points ban.
The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots

Not sure we own ours do we?

I think we own the ground, but not the land that it stands on. We have to pay a small fee to the council each year because of that but we keep the revenue from things like advertising and the money that the pitch brings in. All told, we make some money from the ground. Very different from Nuneaton where they rent the ground from a third party owner. Plus, I guess that it makes a difference to the financial viability of the club when the ground can be listed as an asset on the balance sheet.

Any club with attendances Nuneaton get and have the financial competence of a Wall Street hustler remaining full time status beggars belief - asking for trouble I’m afraid! You need business skills to Manager a football club not football dreams. Amazing how even those with a business background come into clubs and lose the financial plot. Of course in Nuneatons case not owning their ground will always have serious financial consequences- oh hum!

Not sure we own ours do we?

But we’re not full-time and we have in Sir Bob someone with considerable business acumen and a long-term fan. Nice combination in my eyes. Able to manage our given situation.
