I am not blaming them for anything at all but that Bedworth game was as bad as any all season. Truly awful against the worst team in the league. I think we’ve done better since then (we’d have beaten st Neots with Argus in charge in fairness) but the 7 points from 3 games shouts do need a bit of context is all.

- 7 points from 9 taken doesn’t need any context mate - any team would take that including teams at the top irrespective of who you play in this league - best points taken scenario for TFC for a very long time - so let’s enjoy it - rejoice it - smile about it - shout about it - dance about it - jump up and down about it- but please don’t context it

I was there and I’m as happy as anyone about the result because it been getting desperate, but find it hard to be happy about the performance because it wasn’t good. It was a game played between two poor teams on a poor pitch.
You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

Unfortunately most away games are going to be played on what can only be described as sunday football pitches. But that is the current level we are at. We were the better of two poor teams (God knows how they had won 7 out of 9) but our passing and shooting needs to improve even to get to mid table obscurity. Saturday will be interesting and wins do bring belief.
Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall

Good grief guys. What on earth is wrong with some of you. These last three games have been a breath of fresh air compared with what we’ve had to put up with recently. What do you want 6 or 7 nil. I’ve been smiling after seeing a football game. That’s an improvement that I’m willing to live with and making the most of. What am I saying yes it would be great to win games 6 or 7 nil.

These last 3 games have been a breath of fresh air?

It does not make anyone negative to not think Bedworth at home was a breath of fresh air. It was truly, truly abysmal against an awful side and we were fairly close to losing it. Yes, the new management had limited time to prepare and I am not digging them out but it does need saying.

As for not needing context Argus, are you claiming 4 points off Bedworth and st Neots b at home would be no more or less of an achievement than 4 points off Kettering and Stourbridge away.? Both get you 4 points but I would see those achievements as different. If you see them exactly the same, fine, we’ll have something else to disagree on.

Doubt we would have got 4 points from the two home games with Dennis Greene in charge and 7 from 9 deserves not one jot of negativity or context in my eyes - suppose we were playing an underperforming no hope outfit in Coalville who are obviously full of the relegation blues
