Last 10 with less than a point a game if continues to end of the season we’re down based on last seasons points and positions - fact. Worrying absolutely - made even worse because with the best will in the world we can’t afford to replace the whole of our defence and the many other deficiencies in our current team - thought worst team ever last season and of course many of those failures have moved on but us fans are still here as is FOOTBAL- however what’s beyond dispute it’s the mirror of last season and we missed safety by many many many points in such a similar position- please stand up tomorrow and give us 3 points giving us fans some hope

It is quite similar to last season and shortly after this, we sacked the manager who was completely to blame in some people’s eyes and it was all going to improve once he’d gone. Given the absolute success that was, I have very little doubt about repeating that master stroke.

God bless you Pricey - Managers aren’t to blame whatever happens! Infact what DG said after the Stratford away debacle “when they cross that white line nowt to do with me” he might as well text what players he chooses tomorrow from his home - no need to attend as he’s unable to influence outcome - not my words his

Not sure which is worse. Either he isn't able to influence a game once we have kicked off ( which he said himself)' in which case there is no point in him being here, or he does influence games and the result is we are absolutely garbage and keep losing, in which case there is no point in him being here. Depressing.

Here’s a quick yes and no out there - my reply
Did you want AM to go at the time he was sacked -Yes
Did you want MF to go at the time he was sacked -Yes
Do you want DG to be sacked - Yes
Interesting for your views Pricey in just Yes or no’s?

Or anyone else.

Oh this is interesting - remember when I asked, with hindsight, whether we would’ve done better or worse if AM had stayed and had what i’d best describe as a fanny fit and told me it was irrelevant and I had to move on?

I’ll humour you though and accept the rules are different for you and play along so,

Did I want AM sacked at the time? No
Did I then want MF appointed? No
Having given him the job in the summer, did I think it was sensible to boot him in the first half of September? No
Do I want DG sacked now? No
This isn’t because I think he is a messiah. As I have stated before, I don’t know if he will be great, awful or indifferent but without a pre season to build a squad, I don’t think we can make a very fair judgement and repeatedly booting managers will deter good quality replacements who will see you as a basket case of a club who make repeated knee jerk decisions.

I will try one more time though Argus, do you think we’d have done better or worse if AM had stayed?

I also think you deliberately misrepresent DG’s comments. His point is that if a player makes an individual error such as slipping over, mish*tting or misplacing a pass, he can’t run on the pitch and make a goal saving tackle to bail them out.

If you have taken his comments and tried to present them differently to that then you are just being deliberately disingenuous to exaggerate your own point.

AM points ratio per game better than MF and DG even allowing for the fact when he was dismissed we were spiralling downwards and in poor form so on the balance of probability will go for would have done better - he could hardly have done worse - that said in my opinion AM would still have taken us down but not with such a massive points gap between us and others. There you go mate there you have it

Being seriously helped at the moment with all the bottom 3 not making an attempt to stay in this league - Hitchen - 5 defeats on the bounce- Halesowen- 4 defeats in last 5 - and Bedworth despite win today already down in real terms. So here we are - really need a point a game from now to stay in league SO - and a big SO - in 2 weeks we face Hitchin away and a week later Bedworth at home - 2 massive games we have to win so we can regroup as a team - a club and fans -
