I see the season ticket prices for next year have snuck onto the main club website.  The prices are a joke.  The club has gone part time and been relegated, but I will only save £20 (based on early bird price) from last seasons prices.  Bit of a joke that.

I hope that those prices are still to be finalised.  £16 to sit and watch Conference North football is outrageous.  Fairly sure Hednesford is £12, Solihull Moors even less than that.

I'd also love to know why it's £2 to 'upgrade' to a seat unless you're under 4 - in which case it's £4.

The prices for the Lamb last season were the joint lowest in the Conference Premier and were average for the Conference North. Look at the big picture and you will find prices in the Conference North range from £15 at Stockport County (who have already sold !000 season tickets) to £9 at Solihull Moors.

The majority of clubs will be charging £12 for games as will Tamworth FC for the majority of the games. There are now no Lutons, Wrexham's so the 'A' games will be few and will be dictated by match day extra costs (ie Police, stewarding). The season ticket is a considerable saving on match day prices so for a supporter who attend all games it does save money when purchasing one especially on the early bird offer.

The anomaly of the mini in the seats will be looked at but if not just use a terrace entrance and pay for an upgrade to save the £2,

Rod H

Thanks for responding Rod.  I appreciate that it's football in general that needs to look at some of these prices, but I think I'm right in saying that the Hednesford and Solihull prices include seats if desired, which is where the differences then arise.  I only picked those 2 clubs as they are fairly local to us.

Looking at the mini seats would be good - I didn't realise there was an option to pay for an upgrade...seems a bit strange.  Surely easier to just be £2 entry.

Anyway, the real point here I think is people's perception of the prices.  Those who are not regulars will look at charges of up to £16 and think that's extreme (I consider myself a regular and even I think it is!).  You can't please everyone - I appreciate that - but I think Solihull dropped their prices by 25% last season and their attendances went up by something like 3 times that.

Don't forget T F C will be playing less home league games. £12 to £14 depending on what game you watch. Fans will begin to realise what a big drop to the North is, value for money is not what you get. The Moors have to give season ticket holders of other clubs half price admission, £15 at the moment to watch Burton, Nuneaton will keep there prices more or less the same as last season. You have to watch your pennies, value for money is what everyone wants, this is not ticking any of them boxes. NO GROUND IMPROVEMENTS NO FUTURE Mr Andrews please do what is best for the club, GO NOW.

It's all about money, not increasing attendances. If it was about attendances we'd have sacked belford several months ago

I get that but by following Solihull's logic and reducing ticket prices by 25% and increasing your gate by, say, 75% that would increase the money into the club.  Not only that but get more of the people who come every now and then through more regularly.  I can see attendances being closer to 600 this year.

They could lower the admission costs to £5 and people sadly still wouldn't turn up with the club in its current state...

The club could make it free admission and I would still not go. I was a regular for twenty years until member of staff ( who has now left ) decided to verbally abuse me because I dared criticise him!! The club refused to do anything even after I made a complaint and had many witnesses to back me up. The club could fold and disappear and it wouldn't bother me.

Think they're taking the proverbial! Go part time to save costs and obviously lower standard of football and possibly player on show but charge the same amount of money for the privilage! Prices should have been cut to try and entice the supporters back in!
